This Month’s Groove – June 2014

I’ve been finding these hidden gems in different places on the Internet via Pandora or Spotify or on SiriusXM Radio from Jazzanova.  This time it’s Jazzanova featuring Clara Hill with a catchy track that easily gets stuck in your head and listening to this on repeat it gets better every time.

This month’s groove is : “No Use” by Jazzanova feat. Clara Hill from the album “In Between”

A smooth mix of sultry vocals by Clara Hill, jazzy keyboards and a funky staccato drum kick with a taste of Latin flavor thrown in for good measure.  Jump on this track and if so inclined, this album.  You won’t be disappointed. There is some really great music coming out of Germany.  You really need to pay more attention to the alt-music scene over there.

Clara Hill is a musician born in Berlin. She writes and performs with a varied array of artists. Her discography including 3 full-length albums and many 12“s featuring names of Electronica and Jazz knob twiddlers like Jazzanova, King Britt, Marc Mac and Rivulets, Atjazz just to name a few.
